Thank you for subscribing to Programmatic Academy. We really appreciate you signing up and allowing us into your inbox-that is a privilege we will not abuse.
Over the years there have been many spammers that have abused that privilege and as such a lot of email providers have really strict algorithms in order to prevent spam. A lot of times legitimate emails can get caught in the spam filter and you will not realize until you check in the spam folder.
Many of our emails are to help you learn and stay informed on programmatic media but some may be about your account so it’s important that you receive them.
The following are ways different providers enable you to whitelist an email address:
For gmail, you may receive our email in the “Promotions” tab.
Please drag our email to the “Primary” Tab.
In Yahoo, it may go to the “Spam” folder.
Please select our email and click “Not Spam” and it will automatically move the current email and all future emails from us to the inbox.
Select Mail > Preferences… from the menu in Mac OS X Mail.
Go to the Rules category.
Click Add Rule.
Type a Description:, such as “Whitelist “.
Make sure the criteria read: If any of the following conditions are met: From Ends with.
